Low Temperature Battery

EvMac Low-temperature batteries are specialized batteries developed to address issues such as increased resistance, reduced capacity, and degraded charging/discharging performance of conventional batteries in low-temperature environments. Through innovative cell structures (e.g., multi-tab designs), optimized ratio of positive and negative electrode materials (e.g., specific compaction thickness, combinations of active materials and conductive agents), and the use of electrolytes with special additives, they maintain excellent performance at low temperatures. For instance, some models can retain over 80% of their rated capacity at 0.2C discharge under -40℃, while also ensuring high-temperature stability and safety. Classified by performance into energy storage type (used in outdoor monitoring, polar research equipment, etc.) and high-rate type (used in laser, high-intensity light equipment, etc.), they are widely applied in low-temperature scenarios such as military, industry, aerospace, and polar exploration.

Advantages of Low Temperature Battery

The low-temperature battery uses a lithium iron phosphate system, which offers excellent safety performance. At -35°C, the battery achieves a charge/discharge efficiency of over 90%. It has a wide operating temperature range of -35°C to 60°C. The energy density is greater than or equal to 180 Wh/kg. The product is manufactured using fully automated production lines with high precision, and is strictly grouped according to capacity, open-circuit voltage (OCV), and internal resistance (IR) parameters. The internal resistance is less than or equal to 0.25 mΩ, representing a 30% reduction compared to wound batteries.
